What is a Synchronized Transcript?
A synchronized transcript is a deposition transcript that is digitally synchronized with the video of the same deposition. As you play the video deposition, the text from the transcript will scroll in sync underneath the video for easy viewing. A synchronized transcript has several different formats for your viewing. Olender Legal is able to output your synced transcript to a trial presentation software file format in order to present in the courtroom or to DepoView. DepoView is a free program that allows the user to view the synced transcript. DepoView will also allow you to search for terms, view exhibits, highlight text and make video clips within the program for easy use. Below is a screenshot of a DepoView transcript.
